The temptation of Jesus seems so alien to ours (have you been tempted to turn stone into bread recently?) but also, so familiar. Every day we face temptations to misuse our own power, mind and love in the service of ourselves rather than what is true. Yet, serving what is true requires a sacrifice of our power, submission of our minds to truth and lining our loves up behind what is our ultimate love. Yet, we stumble in temptation so often, how can we bear this and be what God intended us to be? [Audio]
