The aim of this foolish site is to provide biblically based teaching material and resources for worship and ministry. We have chosen a format we hope is suited to the life of Australian Christians in their local churches.
In the Apostle Paul’s second letter to the churches in Corinth he described part of his work in this way…
We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.
2 Corinthians 10:5 (NIV translation)
That is a bold claim for work that Paul will soon say is considered foolishness by the standards of the society he lived in. Yet, Paul is modelling Christian ministry for others to imitate. He knows there is no separate religious part to our existence but that God is involved in each part of our lives. More, that God is already the best part of who we are and the art of wise living is to see that more clearly.
